There’s a lot of good there. More Than a Bakery is a new kind of facility, inspired by all that is good about the people who work there. And its roots go back over 100 years. Their mission is informed by the family values at the heart of everything Richmond Baking does. Their founding family, the Quiggs, cultivate a unique culture. They provide opportunities for growth, benefits for stability, and community outreach to show how much they care. More Than a Bakery’s family came to us for a brand that reflected their balance of technology and humanity, caring and efficiency.
We created a visual identity built around a modified B, or heart motif. Used as a period, this motif adds emphasis and pathos to everything it touches. Everything comes from that heart: a unique color palette, accessible typography choice, and warm photography. We also put together an engaging animated video that kicks off the website, introducing the More Than a Bakery vision using their trademark voice. Since the idea first started, More Than a Bakery has been making a positive impact on the contract manufacturing industry and the Woodford County community. Through a simple belief in the power of people, they’re changing more than the way we think of factories – they’re changing lives.
